Inventions
Stuffed animal pen: You will need a desk or chair, yarn, and washi tape. Cut strips of yarn as the bars, tape the yarn to the top of the desk/chair and also to the floor. Cut a piece of yarn to go horizontally across the vertical bars. Then, place your animal inside.
Toy mill: You will need a sit-and-spin, two toy horses, and pipe cleaners or yarn. Use the pipe cleaners to attach the horses to the middle of the sit-and-spin. Be sure one horse is on one side and the other is on the opposite side.
Baby buggy: You will need a baby doll stroller, small tub, pipe cleaner, scotch tape, and old wash cloth. Lay the stroller on its back and put the tub in the seat. Use the stroller straps to buckle in the tub (if the strap is not long enough, then use a pipe cleaner in addition to the strap). Use the tape to attach the washcloth from one handle to the other. One baby can ride hammock-style on the wash cloth and several more can ride in the tub.
Sled-dog team: You will need 7 stuffed dogs, pipe cleaners, 3 carabiners/S-biners, and a basket. Place similar size dogs next to each other, 2 in front of the basket, then 2 more in front, 2 more in front, and the last dog in the lead. Connect three pipe cleaners to make the center tug line and attach to the basket. Use the pipe cleaners to make harnesses or collars. Then, use the carabiners to clip pairs of dogs from their harnesses/collars to the tug line.
